Another great year!

To celebrate a great year in 3rd grade McKenna's class had an end-of year party... One special thing the kids got was a T-shirt  that they wore that day for all their classmates & anyone else they wanted at school to sign.  The kids had a blast (I think we will be scrubbing at a few Sharpie marks on McKenna's body for a few showers but oh well.. :)

And since we missed teacher appreciation week (AND Mrs. Noel's birthday!) we brought her something the last week..

I followed a link to the Cricut website to get the idea instructions- it was pretty fast and easy!  Just clean out a 2-L bottle and carefully remove the label.  Toward the middle of the bottle mark and cut a sideways U shape (big enough to put your goodies through).  Stuff some crinkly paper in the bottom, then your goodies (we used a small glade scented candle, some stickers, some Neutrogena lip balm, a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a couple of Butterfingers- her teacher's favorite!)  Next stuff some more crinkly paper up in the top, close your "flap" with some packing tape and put on a homemade label, add some curling ribbon and there you have it!  Teacher appreciation gift!  This would also be great for the holidays, birthdays or other appreciation gifts.  And because of my 'Adventures in Couponing' I of course got the items to put inside on the FREAP! :) (FREE or cheap!)

The ladybug on the front is a little metal hanger w/ a hook on it that we picked up at Michael's- her teacher LOVES ladybugs :)  We thought it turned out very cute and her teacher loved it!
