What an amazing day it has been! It is such a joy to experience Christmas through the eyes of our children! All the anticipation and how even at 9,5 & 2 they love tradition. And how ironic that the year we have spent the least money ever seems to have been the best. Instead we tried to focus more on the true meaning of this magical season in lots of different ways. I'm not saying it's not fun to give & receive gifts but the reality is that we have already been extended the best gift that could ever be given- grace through Jesus Christ! It's incredible to think that we are born at war with God because of our sin- but also that we can come to Him in repentance and faith and be saved from eternal separation from Him- we become new creatures and be called his children! What an amazing truth that is!
